What are the best print settings for printing lessons?

To get the best results possible, we recommend changing your browser's print settings to the following:

In your browser, go to File -> Print -> Properties/Preferences.

1. Set the printing layout to "Landscape" instead of "Portrait". Doing this will allow you to print wider images.

2. Set the printing quality to "Best".

3. There is an area where you can specify the top, bottom, left, and right margins. Enter "0" for all margins.

4. There is an area where you can enable or disable the printer's default headers and footers, such as the date, URL, page numbers, etc. Disable all headers and footers.

My printer isn't printing the entire tablature image. What can I do?

If the image isn't printing all the way or is being cut off, we recommend trying to print the page from a different internet browser. You can also try saving the image to your computer and printing it through an image-editing program such as Microsoft Paint. To do this, go through the following steps:

Step 1. While you are viewing the image on the lesson page, right-click on the image, then select "Save Image As". Save the image to your computer's desktop.

Step 2. Open Microsoft Paint or any other image-editing software. Go to File -> Open. Select the image you saved in the previous step. You should now see the image displayed.

Step 3. In Microsoft Paint, go to File -> Page Setup. You should see an area where you can select the Paper Size from a drop-down menu. Select "Letter Extra".

Step 4. In Page Setup, you should see an area where you can specify the top, bottom, left, and right margins. Enter "0" for all margins.

Step 5. In Page Setup, you should see an area for "Centering" where you can check or uncheck the boxes for "horizontal" and "vertical". Uncheck both boxes.

Step 6. Go to File -> Print Preview. Check the pages to make sure the image is displayed properly. If all looks correct, you're all done and you can print the image.
